Professional Journey

My passion for diagnostic imaging emerged immediately after graduating in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Bologna. I first encountered ultrasound a few years after graduation at the “Sant'Antonio” Veterinary Clinic in Salò (BS), where a foundational course marked the beginning of a continuous education journey that continues to this day.
Working closely alongside my mentors Dr. Marcello Garatti and Dr. Alberto Santini for over 12 years has been a pivotal milestone in my professional development, enabling me to deepen my expertise in both internal medicine and interventional ultrasound, as well as cardiology and echocardiography through daily clinical experience and structured training.
In 2025, I earned my Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Cardiology, culminating years of specialization in cardiology and echocardiography with international training at leading European institutions.

WHY I CREATED ECOPET

Throughout my professional journey in veterinary diagnostics, I discovered that opportunities for authentic, continuous exchange among colleagues were surprisingly limited. The willingness to discuss cases, share images, and exchange consultations came primarily from international contacts, and through these connections, my diagnostic approach evolved significantly—becoming more informed, accurate, and effective.
Every exchange - a shared image, a discussed clinical case, a phone consultation - enriched not only theoretical knowledge but above all practical experience. This awareness sparked a vision: to create a worldwide network of veterinarians - ultrasonographers, radiologists, specialists from every discipline - united by the desire to engage, share, learn, and grow together.
In an era where artificial intelligence is rapidly advancing and it's increasingly difficult to verify content authenticity, ECOPET was born with a clear mission: to ensure that every clinical case, every consultation, and every educational resource comes from real, verified veterinary professionals. A community where authentic people collaborate, train, and build concrete professional relationships with a common goal: animal health and welfare.
ECOPET is not just a professional project, but the realization of a dream: transforming knowledge sharing into an engine of collective growth, where every professional - from recent graduate to established specialist - can contribute to and benefit from an international ecosystem of knowledge, experience, and innovation.

If you can dream it, you can IMAGING it” – is not just a motto, but the expression of a vision that transforms innovation into concrete clinical value.
